Get your best pal or pals ready because this Sunday is Honeysuckle Dog Day 2019!
Held in partnership with charity organisation Pound Paws, Honeysuckle Hotel's inaugural Dog Day aims to celebrate all the things we love most about our furry friends , while also helping pups in shelters find their fur-ever home.
"We are holding this event in partnership with Pound Paws which is an Australian-based charity focused on reducing the number on death row per year," hotel spokesperson Megan Dodds said.
"They assist rescue centres and pounds with the overall adoption process, as well as utilise modern online technology to re-home pets and educate the Australian public. One of their main activities is organising pet adoption events like this."
As well as having the opportunity to potentially meet your new best friend, there will be plenty of activities on the day including:
• Fur-tographer Shoots • Pet stalls • Holistic Pet Therapy Treatments • Dog Food Sampling / Tastings • Doggie Pamper Grooming (UW Dogs) • Best Dressed Competition • Best Dog Trick Competition
The day will run from 2pm until 4pm with Croq providing live entertainment throughout the afternoon.
