Sydney Junction hotelier Campbell Rogers is well on his way to raising more than $30,000 for the Cancer Council NSW, as part of his role in this year's Stars of Newcastle.
To help him reach his goal, NRL stars Steve Menzies (Sea Eagles) and Bryan Fletcher (Rabbitohs), will join MC Stephen Crowe (Knights), at a sportsman's lunch at SJs this Friday, 8 June.
"The day is set to be a great fundraising opportunity that raises awareness about the work the Cancer Council does here in the Hunter," Campbell said.

In addition to sporting stories, guests will also be treated a three-course chef's selection lunch showcasing the best the Sydney Junction Hotel bistro has to offer.
"We have been overwhelmed with the generosity of the community so far," Campbell said.
"On the day we will have some fantastic things up for grabs through auctions and raffles, especially if you love your NRL, with 2018 signed jerseys and upcoming game tickets. We also have vouchers donated from local businesses such a graphic design packages, photography sessions and winery tours."
Since announcing his participation in the 2018 Stars of Newcastle event, Campbell has already raised more than $22,000 for Cancer Council NSW and is coming second on the fundraising leader board, with all the Stars of 2018 having a massive combined total of over $150,000.
