Live Music Inquiry starts Monday

Live music is in real trouble, not just in Newcastle, but across all of NSW.

Members of the AHA and other industry bodies recently sat down with representatives from all three levels of government to discuss how we might protect the future of live music in Newcastle.

This discussion was part of a state-wide movement, a Parliamentary Inquiry, to look at ways which will ensure the future of live music in NSW.

The Inquiry recently called for submissions. 394 were received.

Now, at 9am on Monday, 26 March an Upper House committee made up of several members of major parties will meet to discuss those submissions and the way forward.
