Inaugural country music extravaganza this weekend at Hotel Cessnock

Hurricane Fall will headline the inaugural Great Northern country music event

This Saturday, 30 June the car park at Hotel Cessnock will be transformed into an extravaganza of live music as the inaugural Great Northern country music event kicks off from 1pm.


The festival will be headlined by country rock act Hurricane Fall who recently opened for Billy Ray Cyrus in Queensland, and Melanie Dyer who's breakout single Fresh’ became an established No. 1 hit, occupying the top spot on the official Australian Country Airplay Chart for five consecutive weeks.


The show will also feature Jarred Taylor and The Iron Shackle Band, Chelsea Berman and local performer Finnian Johnson.


Country music star Melanie Dyer will also be appearing at the Great Northern country music event

Entry is free but all participants are encouraged to make a gold coin donation with all proceeds going to Guide Dogs NSW. Raffles will also be held on the day.


Families are more than welcome to attend and food will be available.
