Grain Store invites craft beer lovers to join them in a nation-wide toast



Iconic craft beer venue, the Grain Store will be throwing its support behind the Independent Brewers Association's (IBA) inaugural Indie Beer Day to be held this weekend.

At 2pm on Saturday, 26 October independent breweries across Australia will raise a glass and toast a unanimous, 'Cheers' with the aim of letting beer lovers revel in “what is” and “who is” the community behind independent beer.

"We will be assembling all the trophy winners, champion brewers and some Gold Medal winners from the recent IBA Indies Awards and filling all 21 of our taps with Indie Award winning Beers," Grain Store spokesperson Corey Cooks said.

"The Grain Store will definitely be throwing its support behind the inaugural Indie Beer Day and toasting with our punters, mates and staff at 2pm."

Jaimie Cook, Chairman of the IBA and Co-Founder of Stone & Wood said the IBA was extremely excited to announce the launch of Indie Beer Day , marking the organisation's first national public event.

"October 26 will be a day for beer lovers, brewers and venues to come together, pause and celebrate our growing role in the community,” he said.

If you would like to join in the nationwide cheers to craft beer with some like-minded beer lovers head to the Grain Store this Saturday, 26 October by 2pm to participate.
