The Bay Hotel Motel is preparing to hold its 17th Bay Hotel Annual Charity Golf Day on Wednesday, 17 October at Morisset Golf Course.
Having already raised an incredible $330,000 for Variety via their golf days, Bay Hotel Motel is once again looking to raise as much money as possible in support of Variety NSW and car 3801, which is actually a bus, for next year's Variety Bash NSW, an event sponsored by the Australian Hotels Association Newcastle Hunter.
"Over the years we've had a lot of people in and around the hotel who have supported Variety and participated in the various Bash events," hotelier Peter Cullen said.
"It's a very good charity in the way it offers so much support for young children and their families."

Peter, who has previously participated in the Australian Hotels Association Variety NSW Bash, is an avid golfer and says the long-running event first came about when he noticed a lack of charity golf days being held in the local area.
"At the time, which was 17 years ago, I realised there was nothing like that around and it's a good fit for our industry as it allows our suppliers and industry representatives to get together, play a game of golf and raise some money for a good cause," he said.
Sponsorship of the event is still available with a number of packages, including dedicated hole sponsorships, for businesses or individuals who may be interested in supporting and being a part of this long-running fundraising event.
