Live Music in the Beer Garden with the The Chad Shuttleworth Duo from 3pm, Thong Throwing at 12pm, Pie-Eating Contest at 2pm, Kid's Face Painting from 1:30pm and Aussie food specials including Aussie Lamb Burger $18.00 and 300gm Aussie King Prawns $30.00.

Bellbird Hotel, Bellbird

There's something for everyone this Australia Day with live entertainment from 3pm with local Band "Get What You're Given", drinks specials, Pie-Eating Comp, Jumping Castle for the kids, and prizes for Best Dressed Aussie.

Belmont Hotel, Belmont

Belmont Hotel is celebrating the astral leap into 2020 by pushing some buttons, turning some keys, hearing some clanks and waking the beast that is Kahibah Brass. Family Hotel, Maitland

Celebrate Australia Day as The Family Hotel kicks off in true Aussie Style with a Big Breakfast starting from 7:30am followed by a Sausage Sizzle running all day. There will be Free Kids Activities, a DJ in the Beer Garden and Under 18s Open Mic from 12-5pm. The Tantrums will be performing live at 7pm.

Great Northern Hotel, Newcastle

Imperial, together with the AHA, are endeavoring to raise much needed funds this Australia Day for this impacted by bushfire. It is day planned to be full of fun with raffles, live music, Aussie menu specials and drinks specials all in a typical " Aussie Shindig".

Iron Horse Inn, Cardiff

To celebrate the first Australia Day of the decade, pop into the Iron Horse for a beer and free BBQ. The bistro will be open all day and the BBQ will be run from 12pm - 2pm.

Kent Hotel, Hamilton

The Aussie Sunday Session is on at The Kent Hotel this Australia Day. The pub is open from 10am and they'll be turning it up all day long. You can lend a hand to support our incredible Rural Fire Fighters by joining the hotel from midday for a traditional Aussie sausage sizzle with 100% of proceeds going to the RFS. DJs will be dropping all your favourites upstairs from 4pm til late and downstairs Komiti and his band will performing from 8:30pm til late. A long weekend means one thing, a Laneway Party at King Street. With Triple J's Hottest 100 happening on Saturday, King St has your perfect hangover fix with Triple J artist and Australian club royalty Odd Mob, plus all your favourite Laneway features like a silent disco from 10pm, free sausage sizzle and party pies, 3 levels of entertainment, 12 resident DJs and more. Support the Red Cross Bushfire Appeal this Australia Day with 100% of $10 entry fees and $12 JD Fire + Apple sales going directly to the appeal as BUMP & Friends bring you Australia Aid this Australia Day long weekend at The Newy, a XXL day and night-time dance to raise much need funds for bush fire affected communities. BUMP has the courtyard covered, while bands drive the day inside, the dad rock disco is going down in the front bar and the BUMP crew will jump back on the in nightclub to bring it home.
